WARNING: You must have completed the Autobiography Task with a 100% before you can access the syllabus review and other course materials.

c. Study the Learning Materials - Not Graded (but necessary for continued success)

The MOM course is divided into three (3) learning modules of five weeks each. Every week contains several folders each containing a "Learning Materials" link. There you will find typed instructor notes explaining the concepts and examples, YouTube videos, and eTexts were written by various other mathematics instructors from other institutions.

The primary source of learning are the instructor notes and examples, and the YouTube videos. Unless directed otherwise, you are to assume every example should be reworked. Or, at the very least, you should do enough of them so that you understand the corresponding concepts. These examples are there for your benefit, but they will not be submitted for grading.

The secondary source of learning are the eTexts were written by various other mathematics instructors from other institutions. ONLY if you are not satisfied with the instructor's notes should you consult the eTexts.

NOTE: The eTexts contain a huge amount of materials and not everything pertains to this course. The instructor lecture notes will tell you what to concentrate on and what to ignore. Please understand that the formulas and solution paths in the eTexts might be slightly different from the ones in the instructor lecture notes. This is the nature of mathematics, and these differences teach you critical thinking skills.
